ABOUT THE RETREAT
Join Ryan Kurczak and David McGrath for a weeklong immersion in the Kriya Yoga teachings passed through the lineage of Mahavatar Babaji, Lahiri Mahasaya, Swami Sri Yukteswar, Paramahansa Yogananda, and Roy Eugene Davis.
Each day includes:
Two guided meditation training sessions
Instruction in refining personal Kriya Yoga practice
Satsang exploring the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and the Bhagavad Gita
Practical guidance for integrating yogic principles into daily life
Qi Gong sessions to support energetic balance
This retreat offers a supportive and focused environment to stabilise meditation, deepen inner awareness, and cultivate the clarity and steadiness needed for initiation.
INITIATION CEREMONY
A dedicated session will be held during the retreat for participants who feel inwardly ready and are prepared to receive formal initiation into Kriya Yoga. Initiation is offered in accordance with the lineage tradition and arises from sincere aspiration rather than curiosity. Participants receiving initiation are invited to offer a fruit, a flower, and a monetary donation during the ceremony.
This retreat is suitable for individuals who have either completed Ryan Kurczak’s Kriya Yoga Apprenticeship Programme, or David McGrath’s Seven Lesson Kriya Yoga Preparation Course. Or alternatively, practitioners who have already received formal Kriya Yoga initiation.
All participants should have an established personal practice and be willing to commit fully to the retreat rhythm, including early mornings, meditation, and periods of quiet reflection.
